Therapy FAQ | The Third Space Collective

Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions page. Whether you’re new to therapy or exploring our services at The Third Space Collective, we’re here to provide clarity. Below you’ll find answers about our therapy rates, insurance, scheduling, and what to expect from working with us.

  • Session fees are currently set at $150 for individual sessions and $200 for couples sessions. We believe in transparent pricing and will discuss your specific rate during your consultation call. We also offer limited reduced-fee slots through our associates for those with financial need.

  • We are an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan. We encourage you to call your insurance provider and ask:

    • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

    • What is my deductible and has it been met?

    • What percentage of each session is reimbursed?

    • Is there a limit to the number of sessions covered per year?

We also accept HSA/FSA cards for payment.

  • Yes. We reserve a number of reduced-fee sessions for clients experiencing financial hardship, particularly through our clinical associates. Please inquire during your consultation call if this might be a fit for you.

  • We accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. Payment is processed securely through our client portal and is typically charged at the time of service.

  • We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice—or no-shows—are charged the full session fee. We know life happens, and we’re happy to work with you to reschedule when possible.

  • Most clients begin with weekly therapy sessions, especially in the early stages of therapy. Over time, this may shift depending on your goals, progress, and availability. We'll collaborate on a pace that feels supportive and sustainable for you.

  • We specialize in trauma-informed, somatic, and attachment-based therapy, incorporating CBT, parts work, and nervous system regulation. Our therapists work with millennials navigating trauma, people-pleasing, chronic illness, and eating disorders, grounded in a Health at Every Size® (HAES) approach.

  • We currently provide online therapy for clients across Pennsylvania, using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. In-person sessions may be available in the future. Stay connected with us for updates.

  • Begin with a free 15-minute consultation or booking a session. We’ll learn more about what you're looking for, answer your questions, and pair you with a therapist who fits your needs.
